China Railway Television Media (Mainland) Limited is a large media corporation. It was incorporated under the support of MOR as a separate legal entity.

The Portal integrates all the information concerning the railway logistics and passenger flow in China. It releases real-time information relating to national railway passenger, cargo delivery services and activities. The functions for web-based ticketing enquiry, reservation, purchase, freight cargo enquiry and delivery will be established progressively.

The Portal aims to provide online ticketing system for railway passengers and related freight cargo services, including the provision of real time information about railway services, e.g. passenger flow, logistics and cargo tracking, etc.

The first phase is to develop online ticketing system for the passenger to access real time national train schedule and to book & purchase train tickets through the Portal.

The online ticketing system will be enhanced by a membership program which is for the users to purchase and pay their tickets online by using of a smart card. In future, such smart card can be used for other merchandises and services payments.

The next phase is to develop online tracking system for freight forwarding services, including making real time commands, online cargo tracking & providing other supplementary cargo delivery services
